One of my proudest achievement, I received the French Legion of Honour in front of friends and family at the French Ambassy in London.

Creation of Serge Betsen Rugby, my coaching programme based in London to share my passion and teach rugby to the next generation.

Publication of Les 7 Plaies du rugby francais where I paint a picture of rugby in France and what’s at stake in the years to come.

Joined London Scottish as a Defence Coach
(RFU Championship/2nd division) until the season 2013/14.

Started Serge Betsen Consulting through a couple of speaker’s roles and as a brand ambassador.

Joined London Wasps (RFU Premiership)
on a three year deal until 2010/11.
2007
Unofficial world record with 30 tackles made in a Rugby match against Wales in the Six Nations.

Created his charity Serge Betsen Academy operating in Cameroon to give access to education and healthcare using the teaching of rugby as a social integration.

Nominated by the IRB for the title of Best World Player.

World Champion with France at University level.

Joined Biarritz Olympique as a professional rugby player where I’ll stay for 17 seasons, earning 172 caps for the club and three titles in the Top 16/14 Championship in 2002, 2005 & 2006.

Arrived in France at Clichy, where I discovered rugby for the very first time.
